February 2012 All-State Concert & Rehearsal Information

Music - What is IN and OUT
Symphonic Band: Third movement of Pineapple Poll is CUT. Prepare all other music.

Orchestra: IN Montague & Capulets from Romeo & Juliet, In the Balance, and Berceuse & Finale from Firebird. The following are OUT: Celebration and all other movements of Romeo & Juliet.

Mixed Choir: Mendelssohn Psalm 43: Richte Mich, Gott is CUT. Prepare all other music.

Tickets
You can purchase tickets for the February 18th All-State concerts from the Orchestra Hall box office. Although tickets can be purchased the day of the performance, the lines can be long.

2012-13 All-State Conductors and Camp Locations

The All-State camps for bands will be held at University of Minnesota Duluth, for choirs at St. Johns University, and for orchestra at Concordia College, Moorhead. Rehearsal and performances dates are August 6 - 11, 2012 and February 15 - 16, 2013 (Feb 14-15 for the Jazz Band).

Conductors for the 2012-2013 All-State Ensembles are Steve Peterson (Concert Band, Ithaca College), Takayoshi Suzuki (Symphonic Band, University of Nevada Las Vegas), Christopher Aspaas (Men's Choir, St. Olaf College), Rollo Dilworth (Mixed Choir, Temple Univeristy), Rhonda Fuelberth (Women's Choir, University of Nebraska Lincoln), Amir Kats (Orchestra, Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies), and Dave Hagedorn (Jazz Band, St. Olaf College).
